Job Description:

As a Integrated Media Strategy Lead at Heineken, you are responsible for developing and guiding integrated media strategies that connect brand, business, and consumer objectives across the full customer journey. You ensure that media investments are aligned with broader marketing priorities and contribute to both short-term performance and long-term brand growth.

Working closely with brand teams, media agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders, you translate consumer insights, market trends, and campaign objectives into effective media plans. You bring a through-the-line mindset, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across paid, owned, earned, and retail touchpoints. Through a balance of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and collaboration, you help maximize the impact of Heineken’s media investments and strengthen connections with consumers.

Key responsibilities

  • Leads the development of integrated media strategies that support brand and business objectives across the consumer journey;
  • Translates consumer, category, and market insights into clear media recommendations and planning frameworks;
  • Partners with brand teams, media agencies, and commercial stakeholders to ensure alignment between media, marketing, and business priorities;
  • Drives a through-the-line planning approach, ensuring consistency across digital, social, retail, experiential, and traditional media channels;
  • Uses data, analytics, and campaign learnings to optimize media effectiveness and identify opportunities for growth;
  • Oversees media planning processes, ensuring plans are strategically sound, insight-driven, and efficiently executed;
  • Challenges and inspires agency and internal teams to deliver innovative and impactful media solutions;
  • Monitors industry developments, consumer behavior trends, and emerging channels to keep Heineken at the forefront of media planning best practices;
  • Fosters a collaborative environment where ideas, insights, and expertise come together to deliver stronger business outcomes;
  • Mentors and supports team members, helping elevate planning capabilities and strategic thinking across the organization.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and multiple channels in both brand building and performance marketing;
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to craft innovative integrated media solutions;
  • Analytical skills and familiarity with analytical tools;
  • High level of numeracy and literacy;
  • Strong command of English;
  • Crucially: significant digital and offline media experience is essential.

Additionally, you bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in a similar or commercial role (agency or client side);
  • Experience advising complex (international) clients in a digital context;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • A passion for media and consumer behavior.
